Support local farmers and help sustain L.I.F.E. 5b’s food box program while enjoying fresh, seasonal produce! Our bi-weekly farm share runs for 10 boxes from late June/early July through early November, ensuring you receive the best of what’s in season.
Each box includes a $40 value of fresh, locally grown produce and a dozen farm-fresh eggs. While specific items will vary based on availability, you can expect a diverse selection of fruits, vegetables, and herbs throughout the season.
Program Details:
- Bi-weekly pickup: Choose from two different start dates.
- Pickup Locations: Boxes are available for pickup at Garden of Paradise (Shad *text preferred*- 515-478-9849) on Saturday afternoon or Sunday mornings or delivery can be coordinated through one of our partner farms.
- Delivery is NOT available through L.I.F.E. 5b, but may be coordinated/purchased through our partner farms.
Add-Ons Available:
- 1 lb of ground beef/pork - based on availability
- An extra dozen eggs
- Dairy Share - milk, cottage cheese, etc.
This is a set seasonal farm share, meaning substitutions are not available. However, we guarantee that each box will maintain a $40 value based on what’s in season.
By purchasing a farm share, you’re not only securing fresh, locally sourced food for yourself—you’re also helping L.I.F.E. 5b continue providing food boxes for families in need after our funding has been cut. Your support makes a direct impact on both small farmers and the community!

Refund Policy
All purchases for the L.I.F.E. 5b Seasonal Farm Share are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled to a different date. Once you commit to the program, we are unable to offer refunds or make changes to your selected pickup dates.
If you are unable to pick up your box on a scheduled week, you have two options:
- Donate it – Your box can be given to a family in need in Southwest Iowa.
- Have someone else pick it up – A friend, family member, or neighbor is welcome to pick up your box on your behalf.
By participating in this program, you are helping to sustain local farmers and provide food to families in need. Thank you for your support and understanding!
Delivery Policy
L.I.F.E. 5b is unable to coordinate delivery on your behalf, as our team is still actively delivering food boxes to customers in need. However, a few of our members are willing to offer delivery services in the area for a fee.
